Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - Situation Room - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A brief description of what the graphic is would help! If you post graphics, please "size" them so that our browsers continue to load the rest of the thread!

Great Mark Steyn article. Chretien = Prime Canadian Wanker.
A majority of the Canadian voters support our actions in Iraq now, according to Freeper Northern Right. When's the next election? (^:

Are they all using the same earpiece?
To: SoldiersGirl
She's probably one of those ones that won't even look pregnant.

Are they all using the same earpiece? Ewww, yuck.

I can't complain
I gained very little weight with both of my babies, just looked like I swallowed a basketball, and wore real clothes home from the hospital. Now that my age has caught up with me, I have to make too much of an effort to stay slim.
dang fluff shouldn't taste so good!

Heard a commentator on Liddy, name slips me, going on today about how the war plan was flawed, the equipment unreliable, leadership questionable, but the American "grunt" somehow overcame all tihs to defeat the Iraqis. Still prefers the Garrand to the M16, I got the feeling that he feels the M60 is superior to the Abrams. His own ego will not let him admit his evaluation at day 5 was flawed.
The Iraqi army fell because other than the AK-47 the equipment they used was 2 or 3 generations behind ours. Well, and the fact our troops train 3 to 8 times as long.
I get tired of Naysaying retired Generals. They would still have us pulling 16 pound Napoleans behind a 4-hitch of Belgians.
To: SoldiersGirl
You Too!
I was too cheap to buy a maternity bathing suit when I was pregnant, because my bikini still fit. I was at the pool one day and these two middle aged women kept telling me how cute it was and how they didn't know I was pregnant until I turned around and they nearly fell out of their lounge chairs!..when my stomach went back down, it was 10 shades darker than the rest of me...
To: null and void
Oh YEAH BABY!! Now it all comes into focus...BIG Time!
Some years ago, I spent a few days in Port Said, Egypt at the head of the Suez Canal. We walked about the town and noticed the open sewers and the pure D Hell stench that permeated the streets. It wasn't any better in Cairo or Alexandria...even the Great Pyramid and Sphynx had human and animal feces and general garbage strewn all over the place...I know we here in the USA have our cesspools, but at least we attempt to clean up after ourselves, these turd world countries don't even try to wipe...

i was really tan with my 2nd daughter, and let my belly hang out loud and proud in a bikini. I loved being pregnant and miss it now
although by adopting my son, I got to skip the 9 months of being sick and go straight to 3 am feedings..lol
oh I mean uh, and in the breaking news, um, daschle is still a saddened little wanker
