OK, I can't figure this whole moose thing out. Can someone please explain, or is it some kind of club or something?
The line is from the Monty Python movie "Quest for the Holy Grail". At the beginning of the movie, as the credits are rolling, inane subtitles begin to appear, urging viewers to visit Sweden and see the lovely scenery and moose. This is followed by ridiculous quotes by the subtitle author concerning moose. I think this gag line appeared in earlier Python comedy sketches. Do a google on "a moose once bit my sister" and you'll get a bunch of info.
