Good - but not enough. Moose should be FIRED and ARRESTED - or ARRESTED and FIRED, whichever.
To: Prince Charles
That headline is misleading--I was going to issue a warning to local moose.

"Police officers are in a war every day." No they aren't. Comparing police to soldiers is a great insult to the soldiers. Soldiers expect to put their lives on the line. Police say that they do, but in reality they don't. Police work is nowhere near as dangerous as commecial fishing or lumber harvesting. It varies from year to year, but it has about the same risk of dying on the job as non-farm commercial landscaping. Have any of their bases been shelled? Have any of their vehicles been ambushed? It's this sort of Gestapo mindset that gets ordinary citizens killed.

If this is true, I wonder why nobody "blew the whistle" before now. Those who knew the descriptions of the perps, if they exist, are equally culpable as Moose is alleged to be......

Sell your diatribe to the widows and orphans of the police officers killed every year. Its a heckuva lot more dangerous than the jobs most of us have, and although a few of them are less than great at what they do, they deserve our respect and gratitude.
To: tracer
The FBI should be interested in this, as should LEOs in VA, DC, and other juristictions in MD.....

Police department sources warn that the panel's report could trigger negligence lawsuits by families of some of the sniper victims, if it concludes Moose delayed the capture of sniper suspects John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo by holding back information about them, such as their physical descriptions. Those sound like promising lawsuits to me.
Article doesn't mention the recorded call to the police from Malvo a week or two before the snipers were captured. The voice was obviously that of a young black male.
