evil does not die well. I saw a man in a black shirt giving a flower to a marine. I hope he's had him smallpox, anthrax vaccines. Nothing will surprise me in the coming days as the last shrieks of evil are extinguished.

Good point. I think our military is as cautious as they are capable. Nothing can prevent every possible evil plot...still, our guys know this and choose to go to Iraq anyway. Awesome.

Brief delay while some evil takes pot shots at the circle. Not too bright, with Marines and tanks hanging out.
MSNBC saying "party's over." I think not. In the scheme of things, the shooter will become a dead ornament on the statue.
