The CBS guy couldn't figure out what the crowd was chanting but I could! They were shouting: "USA - USA!"
Yes, that's exactly what I could hear too. A very memorable moment to witness live.
Pretty cool that just a few minutes before, the announcer had said that the people were probably afraid to come out to the street with all the huge tanks around.
