I am sooo confused. The reporters are in another building? So where was the reporter for Aljazeera stationed to get killed?

I thought all reporters were in the same place.

The Al Jazeera incident was way earlier in the day at another location. Had nothing at all to do with this.

Most of the press are in the hotel that is on the eastern side of the Tigris. They're not allowed to leave unless they leave their cameras behind, and are escorted by Iraqi security.

There do seem to be acceptions, perhaps native Iraqi press?
