He was alive yesterday when our tanks were right across the river, and he didn't pull the plug.

Oh yes he did. That's why all the Western BagCams were down during the ENTIRE US excursion into downtown. Remember? We were all dying to see pictures, when we KNEW we were in the middle of some big action, and none of the BagCams were working. The only footage was from the Arab channels (not subject to the same rules as Western journalists, and no "minders"), or our own imbedded reporters. Not until the US had left the city did we start seeing BagCam footage. (Or has my memory completely failed me?)

No, the cameras were only off intermittently for a few minutes at a time. Tech. problem, imo. They've mostly been pointed at that mosque, but sometimes they've followed airplanes and looked across the river.
