The "Al Jazeera Prison"?
To: Timeout
Is this the prison where the Newsday reporters were held and heard tortures in the halls?

Maybe this prison?
Political Prisoners Die in "Abu Ghraib" and "Makasib" Prisons
Prisoners in general, and political detainees in particular, are suffering dire living and health conditions in the prisons and detention centres of the Iraqi dictatorship, as a result of mistreatment, poor diet and the spread of disease. Prison authorities deliberately neglect to treat those incarcerated in their dungeons, failing utterly to deal with the most serious health cases which threaten the lives of prisoners and expose them to death.

Nyarlhotep in there...

could be..... It is kinda hard to tell with the low resolution we are viewing..... I believe them. You can see the sandbag position right behind them on top of the building.... RPGs usually just piss tankers off..... the only two areas to worry about are 1) the turrent hull interface it isn't bolted on - it just uses gravity(bearings and electrical contacts) and 2)the engine compartment from the rear.... Treads are soft too but you have hit from the front or rear......I guess we will have to wait for the media mini-series from the imbeds..... I'm sure the networks will be putting something together... and soon after the History Channel.....

I heard her say "Al Jazeera prison". Maybe she just made a slip.
I report, you decide.

They have enough of Ali to have locals positively ID him. I definitely heard that in at least one report. I think it was a Brit officer who said that.

Nyarlhotep, the mad, faceless god, who dances to the tune of two idiot flute players? Or, Nyarlhotep, also known as Saddam? Or are they same?

Well, it's getting close to night fall so the craft fair people are lowering their prices so they don't have to cart their stuff home.

The sky's darkening over Baghdad. Time for the regime faithful to don their recently purchased French made night vision goggles.
To: Warren_Piece
I wonder Baghdad Bob is having a press conference. That'd be the only time reporters would roust themselves out of the hotel bar.
To: Sacajaweau
We may have clothing from him from way back when and a talented dog, and then there's the barber of Baghdad who sold us his hair cuttings for 1 Mill and the plastic surgeon with the Saddam mold and the manicurist who kept the cuticle nippings. And (just catching up here, maybe someone mentioned it) we also know now that SH was so paranoid that he and his entire family used only one doctor and one dentist, so xrays, etc., should be very useful, if we've gotten to those guys.
To: cebadams
Col. Swann....B1 pilot who droppped the JDAMS on Saddamities yesterday on Fox now.
To: Conan the Librarian
I think we've heard the vocals that go with the idiot flute players from that tower by the dome, too. Ol'Narly sometimes walks amongst the faithful as "The Black Man". Might have seen him during one of the war planning meetings with Saddam and sons video. Saddam is probably kissing Shub-Niggurath on the lips about now in the endless void...
