Somewhere a week or two ago, probably in USA Today but I can't remember, they ran a little chart showing how much airtime had been devoted to the war on each of the big networks and the cable channels. The cable nets were all three on top of course, and pretty close to equal (when you're going practically 24/7, there's an upper limit to the amount of possible time you can rack up), then NBC and ABC, where NBC was on top but ABC was pretty close ... and the CBS was way, way back in the rear. The numbers where appallingly low.
CBS isn't just an ultraliberal news organization, they're a third-rate one too. It must be a really demoralizing place to work, especially now.
Not today -- before 3/19. We advised all foreignors, including media, in no uncertain terms, to get out of Iraq.

He was asked if it wasn't time for them to surrender, now that we were obviously in Baghdad. He said No, "we have them surrounded. _They_ will surrender, or die in their tanks."
Then he beat feet, really fast...
