And as far as your 'you guys sound like liberals' remark...

I would make the case that you and others sound like liberals. Many liberals had no problem with Janet Reno's handling of Waco since those inside were 'nutty religious people' and David Koresh was a creep. And they supported the government when Lon Horiuchi shot and killed a wierdo-white seperatist's wife, son and his dog at Ruby Ridge.

In both cases liberals blamed the victims because of their beliefs. And they are doing the same thing in this case because 'something seems to be wrong' with Elizabeth's Mormon family.

1. I had a lot of problems with Waco. Janet Reno should be prosecuted for murder.

2. David Koresh *was* a creep, are you debating that?

3. Don't like Ruby Ridge, either.

4. Do you think anyone else is going to majorly differ with me on this? If so, you're dumber than I thought, which is saying a lot.

5. This has nothing to do with her family being Mormon...although you seem to think that's where we're coming from. I will admit I find Mormonism odd. But this has nothing to do with Mormonism, and by playing the religion card, you are taking a CHEAP shot. I don't care WHAT religion the family is; the story reeks. What do I need to do to you to prove it's not about Mormonism? Our country was FOUNDED on freedom of religion.

We are saying you sound like liberals because you are unwilling to listen to ANY dissent from your lock-step lovefest with the Smart family. We don't pretend that we're going to change your minds; we're just trying to explain to you why a person might have questions about this very odd case. *You* are completely closing your mind and hurling completely tangential insults.

This last one is almost complete nonsense. I don't even know why I bothered responding to it. To think that you would automatically assume I supported Janet Reno's actions in the Waco tragedy is absolutely disgusting, and incredibly presumptous on your part.

I guess if you can't debate the issue, change the subject, huh?
