I'm sure they'll cross the border with no problem. Perhaps Vincente Fox will even help out by giving them some of those survival packets he has handed out to Mexicans intent on crossing our borders illegally.

The al Qaeda members are working with Mexican organized crime groups, such as drug-trafficking organizations, in an attempt to enter the United States covertly, the officials said.

Why do they need to use drug-trafficking organizations to try to enter "covertly". Just walk across the border like thousands do every single day! Nobody's watching.

It's sad that we will have to suffer more terrorist attacks in the U.S. because it's politically incorrect to control our borders.

This news makes me feel warm and safe about the Mexican bus station not too far from my house. "Mexico Limousina". If I were a cabbie, I sure wouldn't pick anyone up at that place!

If this is true, I'd also expect some Texas targets.

A group of al Qaeda terrorists is attempting to infiltrate the United States from Mexico to conduct attacks in the country, The Washington Times has learned.

How many Americans have to die before we close the borders?

In February, the CIA concluded in an analysis that Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein is highly likely to use a "third party" terrorist group to conduct a proxy attack on the United States, U.S. officials said.

So it can accurately be said that those American politicians who have failed to close our leaky southern border and continue to resist efforts to do so are actively aiding and abetting Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda terrorists?

That's what I figured they've been doing all along.

The fact that Bush still refuses to protect the borders even after all these five-alarm warnings once again demonstrates how he does not care a whit about putting American lives, safety, and property first.

I am grateful that I do not have a family member or close friend risking their lives in Iraq right now. Bush's duplicity concerning our porous borders only serves to make a mockery of our troops' lost lives and sacrifices in Iraq. God bless our servicemen and women, and may they come home to their anxious families soon.

Vincente Fox makes dang sure that his southern border is secure. Persons trying to illegally cross into Mexico along it's southern border are SHOT without question.

I say any middle eastern men found in the illegal alien areas should be shot on site...NO QUESTIONS! They are not here for a better life...

>>The al Qaeda infiltration from Mexico and bombing threat... including a plot to conduct an attack on President Bush's ranch at Crawford, Texas, the officials said. <<

Perhaps now our President will see the necessity of deploying troops on our borders. What a very simple solution to solving a myriad of problems: (1) thwarting terrorist (2) protecting our sovereignty from the massive tide of illegals crossing daily (3)drying up of illegal drugs.

Why are people vilified for suggesting that we uphold the law and ensure the integrity of our borders? Why do they insist that people who are here illegally be rewarded with benefits? Why is there no robust effort to locate and expel people who are here illegally?

Problem is that well over 3,000 illegals per day travel into the U.S./Arizona border, while people trying to enter the country legally for business or pleasure are having to wait 2 to 3 hours in long lines at the port of entry. Our government is not in any way interested in protecting the citizens. If you don't believe me take a look at the side of your local police cars, they used to read: "to protect and serve", they now read: "to serve". Protection is neither implied nor garanteed. The Federal government has an constitutional obligation to enforce our immigration laws, and we need to force them to do their job. We should force the Federal government to seal our borders, and be assured that the only sure way to protect your family from criminals is to do it yourself.

Over a year ago, Whoraldo did a spot on the Fox show "The Pulse". The Iraqi and Iranian secret service were smuggling people from Mexico into Southern California and Arizona since 1998 according to this report. This is not really a "breaking" piece of news, it's old hat.

A group of al Qaeda terrorists is attempting to infiltrate the United States from Mexico to conduct attacks in the country, The Washington Times has learned....

...A spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security said he had no information on the al Qaeda members who are attempting to enter the country.

Why do we bother with a multi-billion dollar 'Homeland Security' budget, when all we need is Bill Gertz and the Washington Times to keep tabs on the US border?

It's no wonder...if you held a photo of many middle-eastern types up next to many Mexican males, it would be hard to detect the difference. We've tolerated such a leaky border for so long and allowed so many illegals to stay without consequences, they terrorists would be stupid indeed not to take advantage of such an opportunity.

If these terrorists come via Mexico and GW has done NOTHING to protect that border, he will have hell to deal with, IMO.
