I know they had announced they were going to protest at the dock in Oakland. I hope the protesters understood that they are interfering with the military and they can & will use all force necessary to repel them.

Does this not rise to the level of giving aid and comfort to the enemy?

Greenpeace has gone so far as to chain themselves to ships (I can't remember which country). It didn't work.

But the protesters were warned to stay away. Now they're paying the consequences.
