He is like the characature of the news reporters or anchors they always use inthe movies when off camera. Except no evidence of meanness. He sounded more pathetic like a guy who knows he's doing a rotten job. Expecially the "I was all ready" stuff. Feels like he knows he's about ready to lose his job.
