Arnett says Iraqis no longer talking about defenses but how the Americans will treat them. Arnett get's the sense Saddam is probably still in town. "Still a vast part of Bag that they do not occupy and there is still relatively free movement for officials"

Fox News - these explosions appear to be from the Iraqis. MSNBC reporting same thing, with real time translation of Abu Dhabi news feed. MSNBC want to know how anybody would know, in real time, that the explosions were a distraction by the Iraqi's, to discourage US forces from advancing on a certain building.
Could be a serious advance on SRG. Busy night, prayers for coalition forces and the innocents.

Bulls GM Jerry Krause has resigned!!
Sorry off topic! ;0)

Arnett has been spending too much time with Baghdad Bob.

To: Carolina I have a fantasy... next time Beret Boy is at the microphone, our special forces guys run in, grab him by the elbows, and run off with him on live TV. They then take him on a guided tour of Baghdad, pointing out our tanks that are parked at Saddam's place and roaming free throughout the city. All broadcast on Iraqi TV. Then place him back in front of the microphones and see if he truly is mentally ill or just needs his meds adjusted. Well, I can dream. 3193 posted on 04/07/2003 12:10 PM EDT by SandyInSeattle (Is there a cure for FR withdrawal?) Sandy, last night the very same thoughts were going thru my mind as I was watching our troops at the palace & then heard Bagdad Bob talking about all fantasy etc.

Probably Arnett says new leadership of army, brought in because they were loyal to Saddam, aren't very good.

We should send a couple lance corporals across the street to knock on Baghdad Bob's door and invite him to the barbeque at Saddam's place... Heh, heh, heh.
To: Poser
Calling Bagdad Bob's appearance defiant, implying that he was brave, because he was so exposed & in the open....no mention of his big fat lies.....
Ha Ha he's groveling more because he's late...jerk.
To: Poser
Not sure that is Arnett.

Bagdad Bob talking about all fantasy One of the Marines said about that: We were right across the street from Bagdad Bob. We could have gone over there and introduced ourselves, had a little discussion with him.

I hope Brit will have time for the panel this evening. I'd like to observe Mara Liasson's reaction to this find. The woman makes me scream. Mara Liasson is pretty moderate. Please do not watch Judy Woodruff, Eleanor Clift, Susan Estrich, Ellen Ratner, or Katie Couric under any circumstance. You will have a coronary.

I'm not really a basketball fan, but having lived in the Chicago area my whole life I know that the front office types on our major sports teams suck (I'm a Blackhawks fan, we have the suckiest suck who ever sucked running our team) and if one of them resigns it is a joyous day!!

OK, I sent privately what I posted in 3106 about DUh's silliness... anyone else that I missed, or anyone who wants it, please send me a note...
Sorry, Admin Mod ... I did keep it clean and only funny...
By the way, I'll only be here a little longer, so maybe someone else on the thread will have to forward it to you if you want to see it today... I sent it to about 15 already.
