Bombs in Baghdad righ now, from the air. Exact location to be reported . . . my guess is Fedayeen quarters.

Remember the rumor/fact that they use various songs to give various signals. Was that a signal of liberation and joy, or a signal to come kill the infidels? I wondered if all this "singing" wasn't some kind of signal....remember the "non-conventional attack" threat a couple nights ago? We need a FReeper who understands this gibberish!

Is Baghdad Bob starting to remind you of the knight at the bridge after losing three limbs in the Monte Python movie?

Kurd Troops Move Toward Mosul, Take Town of Faida
FAIDA, Iraq (Reuters) - Kurdish Peshmerga fighters, working with U.S. forces, advanced south toward Iraq (news - web sites)'s third largest city Mosul on Monday, capturing the small town of Faida along the way. A Peshmerga commander told Reuters about 300 Kurdish fighters advanced at least five km (three miles) on Monday on the road to Mosul from Dohuk.
U.S. forces and the Peshmerga have been pushing toward Mosul and the major oil center of Kirkuk, the main prize in the north.

I have a fantasy... next time Beret Boy is at the microphone, our special forces guys run in, grab him by the elbows, and run off with him on live TV. They then take him on a guided tour of Baghdad, pointing out our tanks that are parked at Saddam's place and roaming free throughout the city. All broadcast on Iraqi TV. Then place him back in front of the microphones and see if he truly is mentally ill or just needs his meds adjusted.
Well, I can dream.

Sky News Reporter in Baghdad asks two Marines:
Reporter: The Iraqi Information Minister says you're losing the war, what are your thoughts on that?
Marines: "Well, we'll just walk across the street here and have a chat with him. The Ministry of Information is right here!"
Classic.

We haven't heard anything from the 4th armored infantry in a while. I bet the remaining RG/SRG/FS hear from them soon. (Hail Marying their way left/west up and around BAG towards Tikrit/Mosul?

I know they had announced they were going to protest at the dock in Oakland. I hope the protesters understood that they are interfering with the military and they can & will use all force necessary to repel them. Does this not rise to the level of giving aid and comfort to the enemy?
