No, just heard again from an embed that it was "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue"

I also read that one of the tank units...4 tanks...each tank was designated with a flight number from the hijacked jets on 9/11. Hope they got some good revenge last night!

Oh, one other thing: I spent some time during the height of the festivities over at DUh, expecting them to getting some thrills in... LOL... The place was literally as quiet as a morgue - no one over there was in sight - I guess they all have their tails between their legs ...
You have a strong constitution, my man. They were all sleeping, waiting for talking points to emerge from the NYT and DNC. Those cretains never put tail between legs, not enough honesty to admit error. Deny, deny, deny.

Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue- like the Toby Keith song.
BTW, did you hear Casper Wienberger on Don and Roma this morning? They asked him what channel does he watch for his war coverage and he kind of danced around for a while and said, "Well, all the big three...we watch a little MSNBC and mostly Fox News, but that's only because I know so many folks over there. I refuse to watch any station that has ever employed Peter Arnett because he is just too anti-American for words."

I am refraining from calling her,I am sure she is a nervous wreck also, that is if she has the news on.Sitting here talking to all you wonderfull FReepers is my best therapy right now.

I thought war correspondents were supposed to have guts. Another myth bites the dust.
Some of the press does have guts, but it isn't the talking heads, e.g. Blitzer, Amanpour, etc.
To: Jackie-O
make that "the red white and blue"

I must disagree with BagCamAddict. ONLY accept news about your kin from official sources. There are some nasty creatures in this world who would think it great fun to use this forum to send a worried mom a FALSE report.
Cboldt has it right: Most likely, sad information will come "most quickly through official channels. Good news travels a bit more slowly. And the old adage, "no news is good news," is apropos."
To: retrokitten
That's what I do, too. Mostly Fox, and when it gets repetitive, I switch to MSNBC (who seems to be doing a bit better these days). Mostly, I can't stomach CNN, cause every time I turn to it, they are showing Abu Dahi or Al Jazeera. CNN also has the retired generals of doom.

Prayers for Eastforker's son.

Thanks, didn't get a chance to listen to D & R this am.
Love that commentary about Arnett!

On Friday, military planners hinted that they might just surround Saddam and let him continue to ramble while they go about the business of rebuilding Iraq. Wow. Now this sounds like an excellent punishment for Saddam. Let him walk the cities of Iraq free as a bird... but absolutely everyone ignores him as if he were not even there. Don't look at him, don't talk to him, don't feed him, etc... Total Social Exile in his own country. He would definitely be in shock and awe.
And put one of those house-arrest bracelets on his ankle to make sure he stays where he belongs. LOL
To: Cboldt
I made a couple posts attempting to tweak a response... didn't even get a nibble... lol
