MM, the BBC reporter stated that the American Warplane dropped bomb hit 10-12 feet from where he was standing.

We drop 250lb, 500lb, 1000lb and bigger, and a collection of nasty cluster bombs and dumbass bombs.

All are guaranteed to kill at a range somewhat over 10 feet.

If he lied about the proximity, he's lying about the American warplane. He's lying about everything. Nobody survives a 10 foot separation from the landing point of a 250 or 500lb American bomb. We're not dropping Cherry Bombs, Zebras, Black Cats, Bottle Rockets or sparklers from our F-15s last time I checked.

only hearing one side of the conversation.... he was complaining that they couldn't get any cameramen (locals) because they had all gone home. responding to a negotiation question (Coalition and Iraqi) that he hadn't heard any talks about it as "this is the stronghold for the supporters of Saddam and his sons" "heavy explosions going on now"....... Thats all I heard....
