< Hey, since your from WV, just wondering if anybody has heard from your senator Byrd. Is still truly "ashamed" of the United States. I think he was also maybe "embarrased" by his country. >

As on of the two Republicans in WV, I can safely say that I am, have been, and continue to be ashamed of Robert C. Byrd, but it's hard to get rid of an icon.

My wife and I were the other two Republicans in West Virginia but strangely enough, we seemed to agree on most everything with our Democrat neighbors. I guess WV Dems are a lot more 'normal' than those New Englander and NY Dems.
