Since Oliver's first report about casualties, etc., we haven't heard from him again. And we don't hear from the embed with the 3rd anymore too Greg Kelly now reporting.....General is in custody...must be why military cut off reporting....stuff going on out there for awhile.

You know the footage that Fox has been running of GI'S taking the airport.....they usually show it before a break. You see a guy kneel down beside a bridge with some sort of rocket launcher......Don't know for sure what it is....but
I want one.

Fox - Greg is back at Baghdad International and reports that there were waves and waves of pick-up trucks driving straight at the tanks very fast. We took them out, along with many T-72 tanks. Enemy is fighting and either getting shot, or throwing down their weapons and running away. Some surrendered. One U.S. KIA. Tough day of fighting. Not over yet. Not stiffest resistance they've seen. That was crossing the Euphrates. Enemy not well fortified. Didn't see many civilians.

We're Foxless up north btw.

That double-decker bus, no less? Crummy time for a tour. Apparently the only Iraqi government office not yet destroyed has been the Ministry of Tourism.See The Ruins!

Right when I said it!
I thought they were going from the airport towards downtown. Turns out they went to the airport on a road that intruded into the city. Some moving and intel combined!
Here's a city map. I can't figure what large road they took.

The Pentagon has already said he can go back into Iraq as soon as he can find a unit to go with.

Sky News: French made missiles seen in Baghdad. Commander would be interested in seeing the mfg. date on them If made after 1991 they would be a gross violation of the embargo.

Probing defenses. We're here and not afraid to mix it up in urban environment.Greg explaining why they cut through.

Fox - 3rd ID 2nd Div. mission was to probe Iraqi defenses and let them know that we're here and not afraid to mix it up. Lot's of excitement and curiosity on getting to Baghdad. Mostly one-two story buildings. A couple 15 story buildings. Went through a heavily industrial, built up area.
AP reports that the military says our troops continue to enter Baghdad. Some are directly in the center of Baghdad.

The "head" on old sailing ship's was "open" gratings (with a kind of a open-bottom chair on the gratings) in front of the bowsprit (ahead of the deck (get the term "head" there?) ....
You'd climb up over the railing, sit on the chair, do your business down through the grate into the ocean, and then climb back over the railing and go back below.....Next big wave (might) clean everything off for the next guy.
Now, if there were no wind, and no waves - as for days and weeks in the doldrums near the equator, the stink would stay with you.
If there were high waves and high winds in a storm for weeks at end - as going around Cape Horn or Cape of Good Hope, then you'd be sitting IN the waves and freezin' water doing your business and wouldn't CARE about whether the seats were clean.......
