Apparently, Kuwaitis know the word back-stabbers, just as Americans do.

Kuwaitis are one of the only Arab nations in the ME that gets the same news coverage that America does. They also get all the arab stations too.

Couldn't you say that Kuwaitis would have a better understanding then as to the difference between US media and Arab media?

I find it interesting that the most offence is taken when the insults refer in some way to something French...

Sounds like the Kuwaitis are the "conservative blacks" of the Arab world.

I am glad that there are some Arabs that are standing with us. Keeps one from condemning all Arabs as tools of the Islamofaschist mullahs. How come nobody questions the fact that the "imperialist" and "colonialist" U.S. never took over Kuwait?

Yeah, the Kuwaitis may remember what the Iraqis did in 1991 and how we helped save them. But, as I recall, their memories aren't all that long--there was a lot of protest, a lot of negative polls, and a number of anit-American protests and terrorist incidents in recent months as we built up our presence. Don't praise them too hard just yet. In that part of the world, nobility, friendship, and gratitude are fleeting.

"How can America liberate Iraqi people on one side and support the denying Palestinians of freedom on the other?"

There's a problem there, there is no such thing as a palistinian.
Never was such a people, or place under it's own rule or a nation named as such.
It is a delusion.
They are arabs.

But the arab world loves to ignore fact and embrace fiction.
Just look at Arafat and his pet delusions.
