Hey! Come on people! Bull Durham is one of the best ever movies made about baseball. It is entrely appropriate that they be there.
I have little or no use for their politics, but this isn't politics, this is baseball. I wish I could be there for this.
Let's keep a little perspective, please.

What's next Susan? A panel discussion of the "Rocky horror picture show"?
These lefties will never realize how irrelevant and worthless they have become. And how much they are disliked, even hated by the majority of liberty loving Americans.

I've not seen or liked many of her movies but I think she did a great job in Thelma & Louise...when she went over the cliff

No, they are not married. There was a bunch of guff from the Catholic church when she portrayed the nun in Dead Man Walking, because she is such a slut and sinner herself.

Including Susan Sarandon on the disucssion board is (IMO) a slap in the face to those kids from "The Bad News Bears." What about their opionions? Huh?
To: Nathaniel Fischer
I'll stand corrected, but I thought they were. Besides, it sounds funnier than "her batty significant other."

Yahoo!!!!
The enemy will be in my back yard. Time to organize a pro-American protest. Every Wednesday we have to endure a handful of worn-out old hippie protesters in front of our Post Office, which is directly across from the HOF.
They are so inconsiderate that they block the handicap ramp with their trashy communist signs.
Cooperstown is a nice clean small town and more conservative than you would think, being in NY and all. These protesters try to push their agenda on families that drive from all over the U.S. to see the HOF. What an embarassment they are to our town.
Believe me, when they see me coming in to check my mail, they cower and run for cover. I make it a point to check my mail every Wednesday just to watch them shudder.
Any Cooperstown area Freepers interested?

Should say pro-American RALLY, sorry

My son used to work for a friend who has a baseball memorabilia store in Cooperstown. Tim Robbins used to come into the store each year with one or two of his kids. He's apparently a regular in the area. Guess this time he's bringing the old lady. Must be she's not getting many movie offers these days.

. . . and her batty husband. Ms. Sarandon and Tim Robbins are not now and never have been married.
In the vernacular, she's been living in sin and raising a bunch of bastards.
As Casey Stengel said, "You could look it up".

I have little or no use for their politics, but this isn't politics, this is baseballUh huh. Get back to me after they have this panel discussion; I'm really curious about how Susie and Timmy are going to segue from Bull Durham to the slaughter of Iraqi women and children.
