This may sound odd but didn't the female POW from Gulf 1 also have two broken arms?
I believe so as well as being raped.
She broke her arms in the helicopter crash.
She was "fondled" in her words, on the way to the prison she was held in. She was criticized by some for not revealing this for several months, but most of her public comments indicate she didn't reveal it because she didn't think it was that big of a deal. She also indicated that her injuries were treated appropriately by Iraqi physicians, and in fact, that they (the Iraqi physicians) treated her with some respect when they found out the she was a physician.
Her name is Rhonda Cornum, if you google her name you can find all of this.
I've met her, she is "poster child" all-military.
The facts are good enough, all our sevice men and women deserve our thanks and respect.

Actually, she told the media to F-off and leave her alone as she was a private person and didn't want to be bothered with their quesions on her POW experience.
