taking the major international airport of the capital city of the country you are waging armed conflict in is just propaganda.
No need for such foolishness. Man...I wish you were running things instead of Franks.
BBC guy in Baghdad went to airport - NOBODY'S THERE... All this in spite of reported assertions that coalition forces had taken/ were attacking the airport.
Was challenged to do so by the Iraqi information minister. So he did.
So what's the point of having an assault if there's no one to fight? That's what makes it propaganda.

When will the rest of America wake up and smell the bloodshed?
I am so upset by these stories. I can't wait to get home and hug my children. The Iraqi's (and the world) may never forgive us for what we have done.
Now, everyone, take your bp pills and now you know what we are dealing with. Iraq was easy. The DNC is much tougher.
