Just happen to catch one of the network late night news the one that shows Niteline.

They showed pretty graphic stuff. Torture chambers, naked Iraqui POWS ect.

I have not noticed FOX or MSNBC showing this stuff and personally do not want to see it.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I prefer not to veiw graphics I can understand just fine reading or hearing it. Channel Click.

Our family extends the same respect to Jessica Lynch for her service but it has just made us feel more strongly about our old fashion veiws regarding women in the Front esp. when the oppisition are evil monsters.

Does anyone know the story behind how we got the intel on where Jessica was?

Can't lurk long have to take dog in for minor surgery this morning we had thunder storms and the electricity went out my Labrador was shaking and proving that he is a lap dog...boy he is really gonna be bummed when I drop him off at the Vets. He has seperation anxiety soo bad he has to take meds. twice a day. Never had a rough day in his life just smart and skiddish from birth.

There were reports of several Iraqis that were passing information to our soldiers as to where she was...even the room number.

We got the intel from a local iraqi who handed a note to a reporter about her location. The reporter then gave it to a Marine, which then really got the ball rolling.

Baghdad Bob is usually on about 5am EST.

I agree that there's no need for the press to show gruesome stuff, only to allude to it so adults get the gist. If anyone REALLY wants to see it, there are some well known websites and peer-to-peer services that'll have the video.

Did you catch the live report from Bob Arnot on MSNBC? It is reported, blow by blow here on this thread, start at post #151 when you have time, but I'm sure MSNBC will be rerunning it a lot tomorrow. Will give you goosebumps & make your heart race!!

Private Lynch was fighting to the death, didn't want to be captured alive. Gee, why wouldn't she want to be captured? I have a tremendous amount of respect for this true hero. Contrast THAT bravery with our "heroic" athletes...

This lady deserves some serious medals for bravery and guts!

Women on the battlefield? At least, for the next 30-40 yrs, women will have no illusions of what it is they're signing up for. If they want to take the risk, knowing full well, then let them.
