Years before I was born my grandmother played a vicious trick on my sister: With a razor Gram cut sis's birthday date from the calendar and told her they passed a law dispensing with that day, and yes, that means they couldn't celebrate her birthday.

Four decades later, when I had to go through Gram's stuff, I found a strongbox filled with important family documents...and that calendar.

That was a totally mean granny trick,,I do not approve of grannies torturing their grands. Altho I did tell one of mine that if he hit his sister again I would call the cops and he would go to prison.
