Just heard a burst of small arms fire... sounded like ak-47 to my semi trained ears.

I heard that too....just before the singing. Have to wonder what's up ... especially if we hear more.

We actually should be able to "see" more soon. About 7:30PM there BDT. Darkness is going to fall in the next few minutes. We might be able to see flares and tracer rounds going, as well as artillery explosions.
