We went into Najaf. There was an angry mob shouting that they wouldn't let any Americans near their mosque. The Sky Guy said there's no way that we could win their hearts and minds. Then all of a sudden, our guys appeared out of nowhere. They pointed their guns, shouted at them to get down and told them all to smile. The crowd got down!!

Bloom reporting his unit was to come up behind the RG....but air and artillery took out the force the 3rd ID was to fight.....they are mopping up now..
