Ollie sounds exhausted, I wonder if he is accurate. His description of the taking of the airport doesn't seem to agree with others I have read either.

Will our tanks observe traffic laws as they go downtown?I don't think they have any traffic laws. When the bag cam was downtown many of us realized that the traffic lights were simply suggestions of what to do.
So Ollie said that we took out the powergrid?
Quick, bring in Fawn Hall...

Our troops have to be roasting in those chem suits...
My brother served with the 101st back in the late 80's he let me try on one of the chem suits.......that things is very uncomfortable....and hot to wear.

Saddam would look pretty stupid with Abrams circling the rotary downtown.Yeah ...and how about the Information Minister who is saying that the coalition is not within 100 miles of Baghdad and control nothing in Iraq. In fact, I believe Tariq Aziz said the other day that Iraw is on the verge of victory. If this is a victory for them, I would love to see what they consider a loss!!

FN: Ollie North: "This is the front line of the 1st Mar. Exp. Force closing in from the east. All night long - it was the most extraordinary air show this Marine has ever seen...hundreds of US and Coaltion air [planes....can see the tops of the buildings of the city of Baghdad...
It's just after dawn . ...over 40 prisoners being guarded by Marine MPs...walked up to them last night...
(cut to Baghdad, outside the airport):
Soldiers are doing great. Morale is high.
We have now officially taken over the airport...
FN banner: U.S. Tanks enter Saddam Int'l Airport
(back to Ollie:)
"These guys are ready to go. Every one of these tanks has been re-fueled and re-armed...now have two prongs...literally closing in...
"They had a significant amount of opposition there (at airport). There's no doubt about that. Let's hope they broke (it's back)...
Cobra gunships heard overhead...moving into position...

Colmes is a Liberal and Liberals no longer have a party of their own; the Socialists took over the Democrat Party and Liberals hang on like hemorrhoids on a wombat's butt.

I think they're signifigantly advanced since then though, lighter materials due to the magic of science

I would LOVE to see one of those tanks blast one of the statues down. Well, if Ahmed would come fix the cam, maybe we'd see that tonight.
There was another cam link someone put up earlier today. It was N__ something...like NPR or something. Has anyone tried that one?

These Iraqi dudes must be dropping acid.
Anything they say is just fodder for the idiots in Arab countries that believe it...and the NY Times.

This is sick, they're talking about Saddam's child army. Didn;t Hitler have a similar group?
To: Mo1
Of course since some of the PFC Lynch information is wrong, hard to know what to make of the phone story. It sounds great.

Yes, but I don't think they were trained like soldiers.
