I'm real proud of our troops. I know a few people I know who are older vets have questioned the younger generation and their heart and I'd say they stepped uo to the plate most admirably.
To: Mo1
Pleading to take the family with him .. shoot the dogs if you have to but take the family
This is beyond words.
To: SoldiersGirl
You understand.
To: SoldiersGirl

chickened out of what?
I'm still watching msnbc....still listening to Bob
he's now moved up over a road about 50 feet back, Lt Colonel gave them water and food, they're safe, marines moving back a little bit, let the iraqi's lick their wounds, here's the plan now...
prepare for further operations elsewhere, bridge is secure, colonel on phone
accomplished tactical mission by securing bridge, moving wait, waiting for further orders.
