Could be one of the numerous daily calls to prayer.
Now I hear what sounds like a plane.
There is still way more traffic than there has been for the last 2 weeks. Maybe there is something to the story of the Fedayeen gathering up civilians and taking them to the airport.

My husband told me after the first time he went to Kuwait, that there are so many flies surrounding your food, you end up eating half of them.He said they're so lazy they sit on the corner of your mouth and wait for you to bring the food to them

I don't think Iraq is completely desert though. Baghdad is between two rivers (Tigris & Euphrates) and is supposed to be near the site of the Garden of Eden. (Wonder if they had bugs in Eden...)

Okay that answers that! SG, that is so totally gross. I wouldn't eat raisins either! LOL!

Reminds me of the recent joke about flies. The husband kills 5 flies and tells his wife 3 were male, 2 female.
"How the Hell can you tell the sex of a fly?," asks the wife.
Husband replies, "3 were on the beer can, the other 2 were on the phone."

While you're chit-chatting, don't miss the discussion of the video of Pfc. Lynch's rescue. They're about to release more footage.
