if that's true, then we won't roll in. We fight on our terms.

I agree. I've been trying to think of a word that's worse than evil for these subhumans but haven't thought of it yet.
"Spawns of Satan" ain't bad, though.

My cousin is a redhead with lots of freckles. When she was little her older brothers and sisters told her that she was really adopted and that her parents got her in Mexico and that she was really black but they spray-painted her skin. That was why she had freckles. It was really just the paint pealing.
She believed them and one day when she was in trouble she shouted at her mother, "You just don't like me because I am black!" Her mother was totally shocked when she learned about what my cousins had told their little sister. Mean kids!

Did I just hear Vin Scully's voice in the background on the CNN cam?!? It sounded like one of his Farmer John spots. You know it's all over when Radio Baghdad starts running Dodger Baseball and Farmer John ads!

Haven't these Iraqis ever seen Cops? We can see them in the night moving around the city with choppers.

I only caught the tail end as she was talking about holding the bad guys responsible for their crimes..she doesn't really think the Iraqi people would believe the people who have been tormenting them? If the Fedayeen are in each house (do YOU think there are that many left?), they are "minders"...and WE have our own ears all over Iraq. I trust what CENTCOM and the Pentagon tell us. They are very professional, not prone to exaggerations. They would not put our guys (or the civilians) at unnecessary risk.

About what "Auntie" said...I can't believe we don't have intel on this, though. We have to know this is probably the case.

I called my two year old dog "Spawn of Satan" when she was between 3-6 mo. old. Now she is known as Ivy.

Anybody hear what the Italian reporter was saying on NTV? He was speaking English to somebody in background, asking "What is your source? Did you check it out? So the attack starts four hours after ----? Let's see that's in -----?"
To: Lauratealeaf
I had an uncle once who started telling tales of when he was a little girl. Had a female cousin of mine in tears. She wanted to grow up to be a woman.
To: valleygal
I cal them "Clinton wannabe's"

Fedayeen only in Baghdad .. RG persona non-grata Yeah, because RG was forced to fight the coalition forces, under credible threat of summary execution by the Fedayeen. RG is pissed, and Fedayeen is the target.

Sheesh... I go to answer three questions in other threads and find I need to read 300 here to catch back up... Here I go:
10 point non-interference plan
Not bad at all... I would certainly quibble quite a bit, since I really do believe in the "Liberty Doctrine" President Bush espoused in his 1Jun02 speech at West Point (check it out in the archives on whitehouse.gov when you get a chance, along with the Strategic vision document from something like Sep02) - but if we want to give the world an isolationist "finger", your plan is a good start.
I would offer them $15/bbl of oil, though, instead of $10.

The conversation was on the CBS cam too .. couldn't make it out .. sounded like they were trying to figure out how long it would take for the 52's from Fairford to get there.
