I am impressed with the coalition efforts so far, and believe the rpesent "lights-out" condition is our doing. The Marines will want to take bridges crossing the Tigris, and when the lights come back on, a new regime will be in control of Baghdad. Good signal to the people, lights out that is.

I think there are going to be a whole lot of "BOOMs" around Baghdad in the next hours and days. There seems to be a whole LOT of artillery ammo in our tanks and paladins, etc, which has been just sitting there waiting for something to get in their sights... and probably a whole lot of gunmen with very itchy trigger fingers, given the weak resistance to this advance. Now that we're within five miles, they are going to get their chance at some targets the AF and Navy have left over for them...

Maybe even SG's building...

I think it has to have been our people who did it.
