Brooks is superb, very dry wit. The other day when the hacks were complaining that he wasn't giving them any information so why should they still come to the briefings, he quietly said, "well that's entirely your choice" and when they continued to accuse him of dodging their questions he quietly said something like "that probably entitles me to a pay raise." YOU just have to pay attention and not be blinded by preconceived notions.

I think hes doing a terrific job. I saw that 'pay raise' interview and I just thought it was a great response. He puts up with such idiotic questions and remarks from the press.
