I wish they hadn't announced this. If we'd been smart we would have played up the romance of martydom, etc, got as many to make the trip as possible, and whisked them off to Gitmo.

I wish they had just called in an Apache and given these folks the martyrdom they want so badly.

Yes, definitely send them to Gitmo. Don't put these suicidal scumbags near the poor Iraqi conscripts & soldiers who surrendered and/or fought honorably and are now being held in Red Cross-inspected POW camps.
Of course, Gitmo may be too good for these Syrian-sponsored fanatics & terrorists. I just read a recent article out of Pakistan regarding some Gitmo prisoners who were released and claimed that they were treated well. (Much to the dismay of the leftist press types who interviewed them.)

"get as many to make the trip as possible, and whisked them off to Gitmo. "Why bother with spending time and money to do anything with them, when we could just let them, by their own volition, walk into the meat grinder.
Personally I think we should be promoting this in the Arab world and clean up as much of the mess as we can in one fell swoop.

I like your idea,But would rather they met AC-130 Spectre one night in the middle of the Iraqi desert.
There would be a lot less questions about "missing' extremists in a War Zone
