I hope we are smoking all these guys right at the border. This actually may be a useful tool in riding ourselves of potential future bombers.

Now would be a bad time to try and enter Iraq as we control all borders.

We do not control the border with Syria. It's long and the Al Shamiya desert along that border is not so hard to cross.

Well, not exactly. Saddam's Border Guards are still at the controls in the border crossings - Jordan, Syria.
