The universities are literally infested with folks just like him, sometimes worse. I'm not making this up. Think about that when you send your children off for an "education." Most of them couldn't make a living anywhere else or doing anything else, so they stay on at the Unis.

De Genova is also in charge of some course or seminar dealing with Latino studies. That explains quite a bit as to where his head and loyalties rest.
