I wonder how soon CNNNBC will retract. They even went to say he had been escorted back to Kuwait. Fox can have the last laugh and that's just fine with me. Sounds like CENTCOM might be purposefully giving disinformation to CNN and MSNBC.
Serves them right. When you reveal yourself as an enemy of the Coalition, you deserve to be treated as such.
LMAO...

Actually as you can see by my posts I don't mind Geraldo. I think he adds a little punch to Fox. Okay he's kinda campy when he reports but he is fun. Hey if our guys love him - he's okay in my book!

Perhaps in letting the story get to MSNBC, CENTCOM is looking for security leaks to the press?
To: kjam22
Yeah, I was looking at "Breaking" but didn't see this one. Musta beat me by a whisker, because the report wasn't even off yet when I posted!

The Spanish Inquisition!I didn't expect THAT!
I expected it might come, but I underestimated the ferocity of it.

I believe there was a story a while back that Geraldo actually lives in his boat when he has it in NYC Harbour. (possibly when he left CNBC)

>>>During Vietnam Geraldo was anti war anti veteran and anti AmericanI heard Rivera publically admit recently, that was a big mistake on his part. At least he had the cojones to say so. Right now, Rivera's been doing a great job of reporting from Afghanistan and Iraq.
I don't know whats the story with CentCom reporting that Rivera was kicked out. I would think those orders expelling Rivera woiuld come down immediately. We shall see.
To: Howlin
MSNBC just this second reported this again, complete with quote from CENTCOM! CENTCOM is giving MSNBC disinformation and treating them like the enemy that they are.

"MSNBC is so pathetic a cable news network that they have to do anything they can to attract attention but you can rest assured that anything they are saying is a pack of lies. I'm having a great relationship with the 101st Airborne. I intend to march into Baghdad along side them and my only complaint is there is not powder for beer in the MREs." YOU GO GERALDO!! MSNBC is a pathetic excuse for a news station!

If I was running FOX News, I would hire Ann Coulter back from Geraldo's old scandal show on CNBC and give both of them Greata's slot after the war at 10 pm eastern.Wow! great minds think alike. I would love to see that!
To: Conservababe
Ok, so is it or ain't it a rumor?
Where would MSNBC get a CENTCOM quote if they made it up?
I'm confused

See my 130.
This is a great smoke screen ... if that's what it is.
A real media sopa opra.
To: Alamo-Girl
I don't know, but this was a heap of fun. NBC started out looking stinky about Arnett, now they look like nincompoops.
To: PhiKapMom
Assuming they had the original press release, and weren't simply repeating the MSNBCNN line.
If they had a real press release from Centcom, then this story is really odd. Either Geraldo is not in Iraq but still claiming that he is, or Centcom deliberately deceived them.

MSNBC is STILL reporting that he has been removed. I just heard Chris Jansen say it within the last five minutes. AFTER Geraldo reported on Fox.
Well I am shocked that the odd looking Miss Jansing was not informed of the facts! So shocked. So very shocked. Saddened and shocked. (not)

I'm with you! Fox & Friends is my favorite thing about Fox. They all have a nice, easy camaraderie, even when Fox has to plug in some substitutes when, say, one of the main 3 is off, having a baby or reporting from Kuwait.

It would make my day too! And if true, then I suspect they are sealing the leaks, getting ready for the finally slam on Saddam...
To: joesnuffy
During Vietnam Geraldo was anti war anti veteran and anti American He has admitted he was wrong and has expressed his regret over his actions during Vietnam.
