I agree with you. I like his reports, but obviously he can't be trusted to keep his mouth shut.
Objective standards demand that he be fired. But people better realize they are losing a guy who REALLY touted U.S. troops and who was a good propaganda tool if used properly.
It's really too bad. He's just too much of a hot-dog.
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume it was just irrepressible enthusiasm.
