If he really did what they say he did, and it seems very weird to me that he did...many of us, myself included, saw him do this.
drudge has expanded his overline, advancing the story beyond the cnn report: "DISHONORABLE DISCHARGE: U.S. military expels FOX NEWS CHANNEL's Geraldo Rivera from Iraq after violating rule; giving away crucial details of future military operations during live broadcast... Rivera drew a map in the sand indicating the position where the unit which he was embedded with was located, where they were going... Members of the 101st Airborne Division will escort Rivera to the border with Kuwait.... Developing... " his mention of the maps in the sand -- there were several times he did this that i saw -- goes beyond trhe cnn report.

FOX deserves this PR catastrophe, for hiring the likes of the ENQUIRER CLASS of employees such as the slime geraldo, and attention glutton Rita Cosby..I have been appalled at this choice of "professional" journalists just proves how desperate fox is for ratings..soap opera caliber sensationalistic presentations!I have to agree with you about the caliber of some of Fox's staff. Shepherd Smith is another one of Enquirer caliber. I think he has an ego that probably matches Geraldo's too. "This is a LIVE shot of downtown Baghdad!" Woo Hoo, don't get me too excited there Shep--it's only the same picture of the same building we've seen a thousand times before. Unless there's a big mushroom cloud being filmed, maybe tone down on the breaking news every two seconds. Fox is the TV station that cried wolf--but because the other choices are so bad, conservatives are stuck with them.

My six year old son is going around to everyone he meets, and flashing them his first two fingers--saying "V" is for victory!" I don't know where he got it because I didn't tell him.

I've been liking Geraldo too. Especially since he said that he was wrong for protesting Vietnam. Hell, I know he's a prima donna. But I think it works for him. I was surprised at how specific he was being about the location of his unit last night. But let's not put him in the same class with Arnett. Two different kettles of fish entirely. I expect that after tossing the leftist Christian Science Monitor for doing the same thing, they HAD to toss Geraldo. My question remains though, have they tossed Al-Jazeera?

If he really did what they say he did, and it seems very weird to me that he did...after all, he's been doing this for a long time, then he's getting the punishment. But I still don't know what everyone hates him for this war coverage. He did, I saw it, I commented to my wife that he would be gone within a week, I posted here what he did, I didn't expect it to be this fast. I liked his cheerleading of the troops, but I'm questionning it big time - if he cared about them like he acts like he wouldn't have drawn their gameplan out in the sand like he did.

Shep is an id-10-T. So is Brett Baier. I ragged on him for saying the flight from Fairford is 16 hours each way, people defended him. Saturday he said soldiers had been "executed before death" which is inexcusable. Like saying someone got their head decapitated.

Isn't it interesting that Fox is silent on this? Not a peep. That's why I always check Drudge and Free Republic along with Fox news to get my war coverage.

Fox is the TV station that cried wolf--but because the other choices are so bad, conservatives are stuck with them. That's about it, too. I refuse to watch the others because it would 'imply' that I didn't like the conservative view of FOX. So, to protect FOX I keep watching, though I have a hard time listening, much less watching some of their 'reporters'. Shep can be too much, but sometimes he gets good jabs in too. Crosby has gone down hill, and some of the others seem to be nothing more than 'scenery' for the male viewers.
Perhaps Sports Illustrated should have their own news channel! lol

Fox just lost their token Hispanic Jew. Let's see who they come up with to replace him.
(I've always understood that Geraldo was both Hispanic and Jewish. Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

I'm not sure it's true. As hard as Fox went after Arnett yesterday, if this was true, I'm positive they would be forced to acknowledge it.
So far only CNN has it. (Well, Newsmax does, but, of course, they get their news from anywhere they can, and are citing CNN.)

I beg to differ with you, JohnB. Think about it. Arnett is guilty of treason in my mind, but he didn't directly endanger our troops. Geraldo did. Even if it is just stupidity, what he did was far worse in terms of the potential consequences
AND I JUST HEARD ON FOX NEWS!!!~!
2 members of the 101st were killed by snipers. Oh, Lord, I hope it wasn't because of Geraldo's giving too much info on air about the 101st's position!
