FOX deserves this PR catastrophe, for hiring the likes of the ENQUIRER CLASS of employees such as the slime geraldo, and attention glutton Rita Cosby..I have been appalled at this choice of "professional" journalists just proves how desperate fox is for ratings..soap opera caliber sensationalistic presentations!


Not to discount the fine jobs being done by most of the embeddeds..

Much of the high ratings are based on the choice of the MASSES, the kind who love to watch the likes of the Simpsons!!!

I wondered last night who he had smooth the sand for him and why his handler didn't pull his mike. Aren't the reporters supposed to clear everything with someone first? i kinda don't think that tackling geraldo during a live shot would produce the effect the military is hoping to achieve by having embedded reporters. otoh, an off-camera rifle shot could be chalked up to a sniper or something.

It was sickening to see these two preening egos sucking up to each other, sending each other "love" over the airwaves, and making eyes at each other, while our guys are in harm's way.

I agree, her ratings are not bad, because anything on FoxNews will do better than the rest of the pack, but imagine the ratings if Newt or someone else sharp and not a closet liberal was the host. I'll take 5 minutes of Ollie North's quality reports over an hour of Geraldo's patronizing the troops show any day.

Why is everyone ragging on Geraldo. I think he's done a great job. So what if he's full of bravado, he stands out from the rest on the pack and the troops seem to like him. If he really did what they say he did, and it seems very weird to me that he did...after all, he's been doing this for a long time, then he's getting the punishment. But I still don't know what everyone hates him for this war coverage.
