Since when is protecting your economic interests (in this case NBC's) censoring? True. I agree. But NBC wrapped themselves in the flag to support their descision to fire him. If they had said it was because they feared everyone was turning off the channel then I would not object to this. Instead they are clearly firing him for what he said when the hypocrits are having their talking heads saying the same crap 24/7.

Because if they publically state it was "economics" then they would be shunned by reporters and reporterettes everywhere. Everyone knows the obvious but never will say it. There is a huge difference between saying it in a studio in New York City and stating it in the capital of an enemy combatant. Surely you can see the difference? That would be like Murrow going to visit Goebbels in 1942 to "conduct" an interview. It was unthinkable then and now, so I see no difference. Censorship is the government acting to stifle the press, not public pressure. Please use the word correctly.
