I guess apparently all Kurds aren't the same. We're dealing with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, maybe those villagers were allied with the Union of Patriotic Kurdistan.

The US is dealing with both the KDP and the PUK.
The KDP harbors the terrorist PKK..
