Your analogy is deficient.

The common definition of "terrorist" is one who terrorizes the civilian population, typically through killing and/or wounding civilians and/or targeting civilian-occupied buildings. This is by INTENT.

You may argue all day long that our SF operatives have killed/wounded civilians and/or taken out civilian-occupied buildings, but you cannot argue that these actions have been INTENDED to do so.

Where such actions have occurred it is by ACCIDENT--or by the deliberate manipulation of appearances by people such as Saddam and his cabal.

Now either work with common definitions or go back to DU.
