and I am sure that the next generation, today's schoolchildren, will think it is 'cool' to be a soldier. How true! Our troops are undoing decades of anti-American propaganda....and exposing PC moral relativism as the BS it is.
The press doesn't realize that the world's watching them at the press briefings, it seems.

I think you're right, and Egypt is a good choice for locale.

He was counting as he outlined his points, and too late, realized that he committed a TV faux pas.

Why is there a Russian reporter on MSNBC Bagcam?
Seems to be a pool cam being used by various. Both NBC and ABC were using the same feed earlier today.

So True! They really are self-absorbed and trying desperately to prove their version of reality - to each other. Now the world can see how shallow and negative they are. Call it more collateral damage to the world of leftism.

BREAKING NEWS (other than Iraq):
Seems we may be making progress on another critical front:
(Baltimore Sun)BEIJING - For three straight days in recent weeks, something remarkable happened to the oil pipeline running through northeast China to North Korea - the oil stopped flowing, according to diplomatic sources, temporarily cutting off a vital lifeline for North Korea.
The pipeline shutdown, officially ascribed to a technical problem, followed an unusually blunt message delivered by China to its longtime ally in a high-level meeting in Beijing last month, the sources said. Stop your provocations about the possible development of nuclear weapons, China warned its neighbor, or face Chinese support for economic sanctions against the regime.

Sadly, there a lot of lefty loonies who are going to be disappointed by this.

Vietnamese March for US Troops Vietnamese-Americans came out to support President Bush for Iraq war in Little Saigon. More than 1,000 Vietnamese immigrants in Northern California and hundreds more in Southern California took to the streets recently to march in support of the war. California is home to the largest Vietnamese population outside Vietnam, 500,000 strong, according to the 2000 Census. Vietnamese language media like San Jose weekly Viet Merc and the bilingual web portal Kicon.com reported that Vietnamese immigrants have taken to the streets, complete with red, white and blue flags as well as the yellow ones with three red stripes, the flag...

Good mornin' everyone! Just popping in for a quick minute.
Maica, your post reminded me of this picture (it doesn't take much prodding for me to post this one! LOL!)

"Sadly, there a lot of lefty loonies who are going to be disappointed by this."
Could it be that the Bush administration took a look at N. Korea and decided that it was a Chinese/Japanese/Russian problem? Could it be that they decided to let nature take its course and allow those countries to deal with it?
I'm betting that this is exactly what we expected to happen.

BBC reporter: There is no sign of a pause in operations near Najaf.

America should be waking up to good news today...our guys moving forward, freeing Iraqis, kicking the bad guys' rears all over the place. Gen. Franks told of an Iraqi soldier who saw his mother for the first time in 10 years ...and two others, brothers, who overheard free Iraqis talking w/ hope about the future and surrendered to our guys...wanting to work to build a new Iraq - and
not for Saddam's regime.
These are awesome stories, yet we get - from OUR newsmedia - disingenuous, uninformed criticism of OUR military experts! Unbelievable! I'm waiting for the villagers to drag these self-absorbed moral nitwits from their posh broadcast offices by the ears and boot 'em to the curb.

I just turned on Fox News today. This new update bar is really f---ing annoying! Not only is it BIGGER than the old one, it makes this "ding" noise over the people talking. Who does their graphics? A bunch of grade school kids?
C'mon Fox...I love your channel, but this is getting nuts.
