Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
To all who helped this get started, thank you!
Special thanks to An.American.Expatriate for staring the daily threads, Mo1 for the screamer, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

Yes they are. I think I mentioned the other day that I got to look up into the bomb bay of one at an airshow years ago. At the same show, the F-117 was being shown for one of the first times. It didn't fly, as far as I know, but there were Air Force Security Forces encircling her every 15-20 feet.

If I were to take a guess, I'd say I have about 15-18 tapes. I'll NEVER forget when an aunt of mine was visiting my parents and added a few comments on their tape to me. After hearing my tape, she complimented me on providing the great 'sound effects'. I have two ex-wives and I lost the vast majority of my VN things after the divorces. As I have kids with each of them, I can't believe they'd deprive their own of a legacy. But that's what they chose. What really P*sses me off is I lost about 9 - 30 round banana clips for my m-1 carbine in the second divorce. They know how to hurt a guy. Glad I found #3....she's a gem. Been Married to her 5 times longer than the combo of the first two.

Messages on bombs always reminds me of that great scene in Dr. Strangelove with Slim Pickens
