Check out the live thread on the morning shows. I missed the first couple minutes, but Timmy had THAT tone in his voice & was ripping chunks out of Combover. It was amazing. It's going to be repeated tonight on CNBC (9 eastern, 8 central, I think). When Gen. Myers came on, Timmy asked tough questions, but his tone was completely different. He almost gave Myers a pass. Almost.

Sorry about the weapons thing. Kerry Sanders is in (oh, crap, I can't remember where, but 1. it was cleared by the commander & 2. The name of the town starts with D--south of Baghdad, I do believe). Anyway, he said the cache of weapons was HUGE, all kinds of weapons, and that he & his crew were going out to film it for later showing. The commander okayed his report.

The socialist/leftist media are playing the same game they played after Tet in 1968.I agree. The press didn't count on the Vietnam veterans - who are now free to speak, and teach...and do.
What do these reporters think we'll do when we discover the press has been lying to us? Applaud? Like most Americans, I bought the press lies. Never again. Hillary might believe "the end justifies the means", but that's never going to sell in mainstream America during wartime.

It looked like something that was fuel-driven. There aren't a lot of large wood-framed buildings in that region. I'd guess a fuel depot, too.

Yup. Flat-top bluegrass guitar and a little mando. Hubby is 5-string banjo player. I sing vocals too.

Did I hear right today that the Brit Marines caught an RG General and a Colonel? Let's hope we find ways to make them sing like canaries.

Twenty years ago I could flat-picker or finger-pick. It was interesting to switch between the two -- had to be in the "zone" to do that! Now I'm more wordy and less musical.

Uh-oh this can't be good. Just saw this on the front page of the Army Times website.
Iraqi ultralights spotted over U.S. troops
CENTRAL IRAQ At least two Iraqi ultralight aircraft flew over a patch of desert Friday where thousands of U.S. soldiers and several command and control facilities are located. The appearance of enemy aircraft over U.S. positions is especially alarming because the military believes ultralight aircraft of the type spotted Friday may be used to deliver chemical or biological weapons. We're using Psy-Ops on Saddam's inner circle. Pentagon taunting 'em, saying show us Saddam or we won't believe he's alive.
Our ground troops surrounded Baghdad are rested, fed and ready...and
...the funniest line of the day, imho, Chuck Nash on FN this morn wondered whether Saddam's "ace in the hole" would be to step outside and reveal that he is was still alive, lol!

All FReepers are sleep deprivation experts. It comes with being a true FReeper.

Good Afternoon Nully,
Thanks for doing such a great job on these on the weekends! I haven't had much chance to popst, but I've been skimming through.
It can't be said enough - Freepers are just GREAT at staing on top of various situations and blowing the Lib/Dem Media out of the water.
What's the latest on the weapons cache? Is it Chem/Bio?
Sometimes I wish I could get some of the American Media so I could see "live" Tium Russert reaming combover.
