Serb army spying on Nato
29/03/2003 22:16 - (SA)
Sarajevo - A Nato investigation has revealed that the Bosnian Serb army has spied for a number of years on international representatives in Bosnia and various of the country's institutions, officials said on Saturday.
"The Bosnian Serb military was caught red-handed engaged in espionage activities against other institutions in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the international community," a spokesperson for the international High Representative to Bosnia, Paddy Ashdown, told AFP on Saturday.
The evidence of spying activities, collected by the Nato-led Stabilization Force (SFOR) during an inspection earlier in March of three separate facilities of the Bosnian Serb 410 army intelligence unit, was an "extremely serious matter," spokesperson Julian Braithwaite said.
He hinted that Ashdown would take action against officials found to bear responsibility for the spying activities that are in violation of the 1995 Dayton peace accord that ended Bosnia's three-and-a-half-year long war.
The High Representative's mandate enables him to sack any Bosnian official if they fail to apply the Dayton agreement under which the country was split into two largely autonomous entities - Republika Srpska and the Muslim-Croat Federation - with weak central institutions.
Each entity has its own government, army and police.

As long as NATO defends the Muslims the Serbs will be gunning for NATO.

The High Representative's mandate........ Sounds like a character in Gilbert and Sullivan. Probably just as idiotic, too.

No dugh...all three sides do it. When I was there in '98, the Serbs, probably through a good looking interpreter (funny...all the interpretors...for the most part were good looking women...from all 3 sides), stole our operations plan for a mission to take out a radio station (insta mob when it got there). They then went through it, annotated mistakes in US planning and wrote corrections and modifications and faxed it to the UN to take to NATO....I"ll say one thing...they've got balls.

Maybe NATO should pay a little more attention to the Albanian terrorists who operate with impunity under NATO protection, murdering Serbs, Gypsies, and Macedonians and blowing up churches.

Talking about G&S, the little Haile Selassie-cloned, strutting, Ghanian, Peter-Principled public servant, Annan, is addressed in the un's cave full of thugs -- and by its member gangsters, when on the road, as "excellency!"

They should be careful. General Clarke is now working for CNN so they are in danger of being attacked by Larry King.

Yep.
The Blair-Schroeder-Cli'ton-NATO Neo-Axis picked up where Hitler and his Euro-muslim axis henchmen left off.

What a world when we are fighting to destroy Islamofascism in Iraq, but we prop it up in Kosovo and Bosnia.
Considering how cozy the Serb were with Iraq, we could have probably gotten our hands on all sort of good intel had we not bombed and betrayed them.

What a trud is Kofi. I think he's well past the first level of incompetence. In the UN, you have to be incompetent to get promoted -- they don't want anyone who could make any waves. Hence Hans B., who had to be acceptable to Sadam.

LOL! They could have spun it a little:
Bosnian Serbs Thrown out of Spy Club"
Useless Media Inc.
The Bosnian Serbs have been thrown out of Spy Club International for not paying their subscription for several years, a NATO source has said. Other Club members had been turning a blind eye to this fact but had become increasingly irritated by the Bosnian Serbs lack of respect, notably refusing to lick the boots of other members and their affiliated organizations.
The crisis came to a head after an inspection by the Spy Club enforcer organization NATO, who in march uncovered spying activities by the Bosnian Serbs against their neighbors and Club Members. According to Article 2 of the Spy Club International rule book, such rights '...only exist if the subscription fee is paid regularly and in a prompt manner.'
Spy Club International, in it's official statement said that;
'The Bosnian Serbs have no right to spy on grounds of national security as long as they do not pay an arbitary subscription to the club and refuse to follow club edicts.'
The statement concludes that:
'The Bosnian Serbs must desist from spying forthwith and be prepared to face a punishment to be decided by other Club members.'
Due to legal limitations on foul language, the Bosnian Serb response is unprintable, but in essence, they vehemently disagree with the Clubs' actions point out its hypocrisy and arbitary actions.

"Serbs will be gunning for NATO"-you know it's basically only Serbs or Serbian-Americans reading this. You wouldn't write that otherwise. You might as well write "Serbs will be gunning for whatever goes up in place of the world trade center towers."

I did not understand what your post means.
