I find it hard to believe that two hundred perps would be so stupid as to all gather in one building, particularly in Basra.

Normally I'd agree but the Iraqi military has a history of really dumb moves. BTW, whatever happened with that 1000-vehicle convoy heading south from Baghdad? Heard about it constantly for a day, then nothing.

That convoy did not exist. Another bum story. There was some movement of Republican Guard troops around Bagdad, but nobody was going very far. So far, the perps have not acted in a very stupid way at all IMO.

They were not heading south. It was just the RG shifting/making adjustments.

Now, tell me what happened to the three large cargo ships that were going in circles out in the Indian Ocean?

That convoy was nothing more than an auto-erotic media fever dream. They're getting so anxious for the downfall of George Bush at the hands of the almighty Saddam Hussein and his invincible Republican Guards that they're making up things.
