Your point of snipers is of note, but it ought to be employed in the Basra area. The Brits have some of the most accomplished snipers in the world. Placing these excellent assets in forward operating units to pick off the demons using women and children as shields would quickly 'adjust' the criminal activity of the Fedayeen death squads.
