BTW, a C-5 needs 4,900 feet for a fully loaded landing. Not as importantly, it needs 12,200 feet for a fully loaded takeoff.

C-5 also needs specially reinforced concrete runway. USAF SPECOPS would do runway survey to make sure before any landings.

You don' want to ball up a C-5 on the nightly news
